History
and Mission - Established in 1983, North
Rome Christian School is a place where Christian families from over 40
churches work together in the training of their children. An
interdenominational parent-owned school, NRCS seeks to reinforce the
beliefs and values taught in the home and the church. The school began
with 14 students in Kindergarten through Fourth grade. Miss Lori Blue
was our first teacher. The school presently has an enrollment of about
150 students. Our teaching staff now consists of 17 teachers (14 full
time and 3 part time). Approximately 55 students are enrolled in grades
7-12 with 110 students in the elementary grades. Our first Senior class
graduated in 1999.
The mission of the
North Rome Christian School is to reinforce Christian family values and
provide outstanding educational programs that prepare students to excel
academically and motivate them to develop a Christian lifestyle that
results in service to God and mankind.
